Courtney Lang
Senior Director of Alliance Development – Pfizer

As Senior Director of Alliance Development for Pfizer Inc., Courtney Lang determines the strategic focus for national advocacy and alliance development activities. With a concentrated focus on health care reform and access to care, Courtney works to improve the business and legislative environment with third-party stakeholders. In this capacity, core responsibilities include the strategic promotion of federal policy, disease management initiatives and care coordination provisions to governmental and non-governmental audiences.
                                             
Prior to joining Pfizer, Courtney successfully built sustainable private-public sector partnerships, including: global and national public health interventions, investments in biotechnology resources and implemented unique border health programs with multi-national stakeholders and political influencers.  She has demonstrated talent by spearheading bi-national health projects in Latin America and Europe, augmenting grassroots mobilization and ensuring a feasible environment for commercial products.
 
Courtney is an active member in several community-based initiatives, including prior service as the University Board alumni advisor for Pepperdine University.  She has pursued certification in multiple jurisdictions as a certified mediator and alternative dispute resolution specialist, focusing specifically on criminal, civil and family disputes. An active volunteer, Courtney also serves on the Board of Directors to the National Caucus and Center on Black Aged.
 
A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law, Courtney also earned the privilege of studying comparative Health Law and Policy at St. Anne's College of Oxford University, completing coursework with the designation of high honors and receiving a University award for Ethics in Legal Professionalism.  She earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University. 
 
Courtney is a native of Washington, DC and has resided in Los Angeles, CA and Cleveland, OH.
